Psychodynamic Psychotherapy: A case of compulsive masturbation in a patient with an obsessive-compulsive personality trait

Purpose 
 The purpose of this article is to present the case a patient suffering from feature obsessive-compulsive personality with accompanying compulsive masturbation, and show methods therapeutic work in psychodynamic approach.
 Method
 main elements diagnostic interview based on approach are presented. area psychotherapeutic focused problems anxiety guilt associated sexual intimacy masturbation consumption pornographic content.
 Results
 succeeded achieving some goals set psychotherapist. As result procedure date, man has gained better insight into factors shaping his functioning intercourse.
 Conclusions patient’s early childhood psychological situation had significant influence development sexuality, which was ultimately reflected construction dysfunctions he faced adulthood.
